How do you Mbrace Life?

Life is full of amazing opportunities and people!

I live my life with the mindset that we must surround ourselves with what brings us happiness and gives us energy. For me, that is my family, my friends, my passion for giving back to my community and positive attitudes!

Why are you passionate about orthodontics?

Orthodontics truly bring me joy in many ways (I am a tooth nerd and proud of it!).

I love watching a smile transform into a positive result that changes a person’s life. As a teenager, I had crooked teeth and very prominent (and large) front teeth! I was self-conscious about that until orthodontics changed my smile and changed my confidence and I LOVE being able to help others feel the same way!

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE puzzles and crosswords (I told you I am a nerd) and orthodontics is a type of puzzle – it requires a lot of planning and thought and constant re-evaluation to achieve an amazing and perfect result! So fun!

What do you enjoy to do outside of work?

I love to explore new places and things!

My family and I love to travel- whether that means the world or our great state of Maine! I also love to try new restaurants and experiences. Being with my family is my most favorite part of life- together we can be found hiking, running or sailing in the summer or skiing in the winter!

What are three things you are grateful for?

Only three?!

  1. My family is absolutely number one! They bring a fullness and richness to every day!
  2. The ability to help others
  3. The ability to enjoy all four seasons in Maine- warm summer sun, beautiful fall colors, fun winter sports and new beginnings each spring!
