Dear Mbrace Orthodontics Patient Families,
In this current climate of the COVID 19 Pandemic we want you to know that your health is our number one concern and commitment. We are actively following the CDC guidelines for patient care, for the protection of our team members, our community and for your individual protection. This means that our daily decision making concerning your individual treatment at our office is fluidly changing by the hour and that we will be implementing new protocols as necessary.
Please know that we have decided to postpone all non-essential orthodontic appointments for the next three weeks until Monday April 6th, 2020, knowing this may be extended. Each scheduled appointment will receive communication from our office and either be rescheduled or, if necessary, attended in a safe environment. We will be requesting some of our patients to attend their appointments from the social safety of their own cars and asking you to call us when you are in the parking lot. At that time we will come to you to support your orthodontic needs in your car. If you are unwell or have chosen strict social distancing for your family and have any orthodontic questions we will be offering open communication with our team through phone call or video conference with any immediate concerns.
If you do have an appointment that must be seen within the office we ask you to consider the following:
- In an effort to keep the number of people within our office limited we ask that you please not accompany your child to his or her appointment, please stay in your car and entrust your child to safely walk into his/her appointment. You can rest assured that he/she will be entering an extremely clean and well protected environment with the highest level of precaution. If you yourself have an appointment please do not bring any additional family members to your appointment with you.
- Have you or anyone in your family been feeling ill with sore throat, fever, cough, difficulty breathing? If so, please contact your primary care physician and inform them of your symptoms. Please let us know as well so that we can reschedule your appointment for when you are well.
- Have you been seen in our office within the last 14 days and have since been positively diagnosed with COVID19? If so, please contact our office so that we may take proactive steps to protect the health of our team and any other patients who may have been in the office with you on that day.
As we enter the next phase of social distancing and monitoring our own health and safety we want to extend our love and strength to you and your families. We are confident in the strength and resilience of our community and we are determined to support you in all ways possible.
With Great Love and Respect,
Dr. Tarryn MacCarthy and Dr. Meg Dombroski and the entire team of Mbrace Orthodontics.
